of CBIA’s objectives is to provide training
and education to its members in the form of one-day
conferences twice a year. The programs for these
conferences include “lessons learned”
from seasoned business incubator managers, legislative
updates, identification of resources and many
other topics that provide valuable information
to planned, emerging and established business
incubators.
Summer Conference 2010 is scheduled for Friday, June 4th at Stapleton in Denver. The topic for this conference is “Enhancing the Power of Colorado’s Entrepreneurial Support Network through Collaboration”. We will also be offering a Pre-Conference session the afternoon before the conference for those of you who are operating or planning to operate an incubator program:

This session will provide an overview of the best practices in business incubation, including types of business incubation programs and their economic impact, the importance and components of feasibility studies, client selection, services and graduation.
